The Gauss Instruments’ TDEMI 3G has the frequency range of 9 kHz to 3 GHz. It covers all the automotive tests in this frequency range. The TDEMI 3G provides a significant lower noise floor above 1 Ghz frequency range. The typical noise floor is below 3 dBuV and an external pre amplifier is not necessary for this frequency range. By the use of ultrafast floating point ADC unit and real time signal analysis, The TEDMI system is faster by 4000 times than conventional EMI Receivers. The TDEMI measurement system uses the baseband bandwidth of 1 GHz unlike traditional superheterodyne EMI receivers that performs scans by sequential measurements at several thousand frequencies.
