Instrument Transformers

Instrument transformers are specialised devices used in alternating current (AC) power systems to step down high voltages or high currents to safe, standardised levels so they can be accurately measured, monitored, and used for system protection. They act as the bridge between dangerous high-energy power lines and low-voltage measuring or protection instruments.
