What is Power Quality?Power Quality is the field of mitigating the effects of harmonics and RFI from electrical systems. Although a considerable focus of Power Quality is the electrical environment surrounding variable speed drives and motors, Power Quality extends into virtually every facet of an electrical system.

To commemorate the historic occasion, Mr. Eduard Hadorn (Vice President, Schaffner Holding Ltd. & Managing Director) and Mr. Stefan Krattiger (Managing Director) visited Fuseco in Melbourne with the official agreement being signed on the 1st March 2011. Fuseco's Director of Sales, Mr. George Moraitis is very pleased with the new arrangement "It is an honour for Fuseco to be associated with a company of such reputation and integrity in the global marketplace. We are proud of this partnership and will endeavour to serve Schaffner's interests with energy and enthusiasm." To ensure the success and growth of the Schaffner business in the region, Fuseco has invested in a large stock profile and people with EMC/RFI & Harmonic Mitigation expertise. Fuseco's focus will now be to ensure that their customers benefit from this union. In usual Fuseco style, the company has moved quickly and made an immediate impact on the market. One of the most important aspects of this new venture was the acquisition of a Schaffner distribution agreement. The Schaffner Group appointed Fuseco as a distributor for the region of Australia and New Zealand. Fuseco now represent Schaffner's EMC/EMI and power quality range of products. The Schaffner brand's reputation for quality is unsurpassed and gave Fuseco instant traction in the market.
